Mission Statement

To continually improve the effectiveness of our membership’s business operations through:

·       Public awareness of our member’s products and services.

·       Encouraging synergy and co-operation between our members business operations.

·       Improving the quality of local workforces through support for training & education.

·       Expanding member’s management knowledge & skills.

·        Encouraging members to expand business perimeters beyond Orillia, beyond Ontario, and beyond Canada.

·        Becoming active on specific political and taxation issues to protect our member’s best interests.

·        Encouraging new businesses to locate to the Orillia area, and join our organization.

·         Programs to expand the influence of the OMA to encourage membership of businesses beyond the immediate Orillia area.

To contribute to the betterment of the greater Orillia area through:

·        Commitment of our membership to implement “best available technologies” to minimize impact of their operations on the environment.

·        Support of local agencies & organizations working with youth.

·        Encourage manufacturing growth in the greater Orillia region.

·        Work with local governments and politicians to encourage planned sustainable economic growth in the greater Orillia area.
